Carlos Benito’s Crash to Flash Fat Boy
There are easier ways to get rid of a paint color you’re not crazy about than crashing a bike, but sometimes it just happens that way. As long as everybody comes out in one piece, it could be considered a good opportunity to change not only the color, but a whole lot more damaged parts as well. Carlos Benito of Plantation, Florida, had a color changing experience after an accident on his 2000 Harley Fat Boy left him with a bike in need of serious fixing. “When I purchased the bike it was yellow which I wasn’t crazy about. I crashed it and rolled it really bad,” he said. “Then I found Tom Keller at Thug Custom Cycles and I knew he was the right guy to rebuild my bike. Tom gave me some great ideas that I would not have come up with and the almost-finished bike is above and beyond what I expected.
