Don’t know whether I’ve ever mentioned this or not, but I’ve got a thing about gold. Yeah, I know, big surprise, everybody covets gold for its unique metallic properties and its high value. Hey, that’s okay for you maybe, but I’ve got a thing about gold paint on motorcycles, not the stuff selling for an ounce at $1319.60 as of August 29th. What the hell would I do with an ounce of gold, look at it? But, a well-done gold motorcycle is something I know exactly what to do with and it ain’t just looking at it.

Slurping down my first sip of black coffee as my computer fires up quicker than my sleepy composition does, I check my email and happen to notice one from my boss and longtime friend, Mark Barnett. It’s one of those sent in the middle of the night which makes me wonder if he ever sleeps so I immediately open it and read. It’s a short demanding message seeking info on a single photo of a bike attached. It was one shot included in with many others of the bikes doing the Hot Bike Magazine Tour and he demanded to see more of this particular one. Unfortunately Barnett’s photo guy, Jack Cofano, hadn’t loaded a gallery of this bike yet so no can do ─ until now.
