Barnett’s Classified Galleries
Parking Lot Bike of the week
People are all about their colors and I don’t mean anything to do with patches. Most of us have our favorite color followed by a second choice in case the first wasn’t available and so on. Barnett’s Magazine Online’s snap-chap, Jack Cofano, is freaky about white bikes and that’s about it while I’m default-black on everything so I don’t have to think about it. I’m sure you’ve got your descending order of color too unless you’re a purple freak. Purple freaks are their own breed and seemingly nothing else will do. I’ve heard it enough on the showroom floor when I had the right bike, but the wrong color. “It’s gotta be the purple one or I’m looking elsewhere.” And, like that, they were gone.
See that paintjob? That’s no ordinary paint, but paint that’s wired to electrically light up with the flick of a switch. Turn it on, turn it off and you have two different paintjobs for all intents and purposes. No more of that lame under-tank LED stuff, this paint is wired to shock you with a real electrical glow worthy of a trip down the Vegas strip. Like the Starship Enterprise, Lumilor Electroluminescent Coating System’s paint goes where no paint has gone before. I’m still in a bit of a shock trying to get a grip on this unreal development so read on and see for yourself.
Boy have we got a lot of custom baggers coming your way. Jack Cofano’s recent photo-gathering trip o the Charlotte Easyriders Show confirmed that big wheel custom baggers are still as show-popular as ever with the majority of show bikes being built in that style. How long’s it gonna last? Nobody has the slightest idea as the proliferation of outrageous big wheel baggers continues unabated.
